COME WORSHIP WITH US
Every morning, Monday through Saturday, at 9 am, one of the Pilgrim ministers leads a daily devotional that is broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom. These are recorded and available any time of the day on the Pilgrim Congregational Church YouTube channel and Facebook page. On Monday through Friday, the senior minister leads a discussion on Zoom, following the devotion.
Each Tuesday evening at 5:45 pm the senior minister hosts a Bible Study in his office. The Bible lesson is a preparation for the lectionary reading the following Sunday worship service. The Bible Study is broadcasts on YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom. Those who join by Zoom can audibly participate in the study.
Pilgrim Congregational Church is the place for Children! The children of Pilgrim grow up learning and knowing the love of Christ through the study of the Bible. The Director of Youth staff member, a voluntary Sunday School Superintendent, who is a retired teacher, and many caring and devoted volunteers make certain that all our young people are taken care of. Children 5 to 12 start their Sunday morning at 10am with their parents in church and after the first lesson, a few songs and a children’s message, they are dismissed into their Sunday School classes. The youth from ages 13 to 18 are encouraged to attend the full worship service and attend Flashpoint at the conclusion of the worship service. A nursery for infants through pre-school is available during worship service.
Flashpoint is a youth group for teens, 7th – 12th grade, that meets every Sunday, following Worship Service. They meet for discussion and activities, perform service projects, participate in fun events, and often lead the younger kids in activities. When appropriate, younger Pilgrim’s may be invited to join in the festivities.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, please call the church office ((909) 622-1373) to make an appointment with the senior minister. Those who decide to become members will be recommended by the Membership Board and presented to the congregation in a worship service at the earliest convenience. Membership includes a recommended new members class with the senior minister and a history and polity course offered by the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches’ Center for Congregational Leadership.
