Worship Service Closed this Sunday
Dear Fellow Pilgrims,
With a heavy heart and much disappointment we must announce that our worship services are closed, again. The following statement from the governor's office applies to worship services in LA County:
"Counties that have remained on the County Monitoring List for 3 consecutive days will be required to shut down the following industries or activities unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up."
There are legitimate legal questions concerning whether a governor can "require" a worship service to be closed, but in the interest of the health and safety of our guests, our members, and our staff, we are closing our services.
We will continue to broadcast our services on YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom, and we will continue to provide music and other elements of worship with less than 10 people. These services, as well as Tuesday Twilight Bible Study and devotionals, can be accessed through our website: pilgrimchurchpomona.com.
Those of you who are callers on our phone tree, please call everyone on your list this week to make sure that they get this information.
Please let us know if you have any questions (909-622-1373). And continue to pray for our community and our world that people will respond in peace with love and kindness in these very challenging days.
May God bless you,
Patrick Horn,
Senior Minister
