YOUR WEDDING AT PILGRIM CHURCH

Your wedding at Pilgrim Congregational Church is meant to be a meaningful, personal religious ceremony in a beautiful setting.

The wedding package includes the use of the church for 2 hours.  1 hour to prepare, a half hour for the ceremony and another half hour for pictures.  Additional time may be arranged for an extra charge.  The sanctuary is fully heated and air conditioned.  We offer a beautiful building with stained glass windows and lovely wood work.  A first –class pipe organ provides the music.  There are separate dressing rooms for both the bride and groom.

The services of our minister, organist, wedding director and custodian is included, as well as 3 pieces of music.  The music selections can be chosen in consultation with the organist, Mary Ferguson.  Also included is a white runner down the aisle and candles at the end of the pews and in the candelabras.  A unity candle is also available should you wish to use it.  The package includes a rehearsal and the services of the wedding director.

Set the date as soon as possible by contacting the church office.  Your deposit will book the date.  The balance will be due a month before the wedding.  Around the same time you will need to meet with our minister for a counseling appointment.  You will also need to meet with the wedding director at least 4 weeks in advance to finalize all your plans.

Because weddings at Pilgrim Church are considered a solemn social event, care is taken by the minister, the organist and the wedding director to coordinate all aspects of the service.  Our minister is to be the principal celebrant of the wedding.  Visiting ministers may assist at the invitation of our church’s minister.
